NoVember New New CHange!

HI hi all!!! Well, november, rather fast... wow... we are all on attachment for 4 months le... For my side, new changes occur. Our old counter girls almost 90 percent gone. New girls from new company took over. They are very new, some very blur and rude too... Futhermore, there is a Retired Senior grp coming in and do our roving job too! they are all very active. For some "Uncles" u cant even tell thier age when they talk to u... haha... they are very friendly and they are a grp of experiences. They come from different lines, like doctor and some even lawyers. We really welcome them and we bought them to tour around the transit area of airport. Changi AIrport are filled with more new faces and the opening of Terminal 3 also made everyone excited. To the senior rovers, welcome u guys to the CHANGI FAMILY...

A Very Shag Day.

Ok, let me tell u guys why I felt so down recently.. Firstly, I am sick due to the flu virus that I had contracted during work. Secondly, yesterday I have also Kana a Consuel or rather feed back session regarding some pple that complain abt me. Well, I have no worries cause those feeback/complain they made is all false. I told my mangement that I am clear of those negative feedback. Somehow, coming to a working enviornment or rather all kinds of working enviornment, we bound to recieve complains from others that are not happy with u. Is normal. All thier accuse I denied. I believe they will understand wad I told them. Especially my trainner. I told them this" We cannot make everyone like us, but I am trying my best to be friendly and building good relation ship with pple that work with us. They also agreed with wad I say. Of course they cant just trust me like that, I am sure they will carry on to find out the fact. ok thats for wad I faced in work. After work, I still went to my fren hse for majong session until the next day afternoon. LOL... Fun but damn tiring and I felt so sick after that. No more Majong for the whole month =) lol... I hope so... k la... thats all for my recent update.. And Grats Graham recieve his first batch of quality service in Changi Airport.. lol

Work becoming as normal as it could be for now...

Halo all... well, working is like suddenly so normal for now. Normal as in everyday we are doing the same thing. ROVING. Now the situation is like every counter there is no place to sit down at all so if we wan to stand at the counter also tired. Walk or rove also tired. Only comes to our break time then we could sit.. LOL... My legs are shouting for pain.. Yeah, remember my previous post about changing of airport map? we are almost done with Terminal 2 so the incharge wan us to find another team to do the Terminal 1 map. I have decide to let Graham grp to take charge. I am sure they can do a good job.. ^_^... Cheers Graham. I admit is a tiduis process but the result will benefits the rest for sure because the current airport map we are using is not clear enough and pple tend to get lost when seeing it.. lol... For those shatec frens who are going for the BBQ on sunday, hope u guys can enjoy it and catch up with one another. I could not attend due to afternoon shift. very sorry abt it.. take care all. = )

For my last blog, I mentioned that we are told to guide the new counter girls from the other company.. It is not easy as there are 5 new girls in one counter. Among them, there is a seinor staff working there to help out too.. But one person alone is not easy. So i did my part also by training the counter girls and help them with any questions that they are not sure with. Hmm... getting more tired day by day but when comes to work, I am still so happy and there is like a kind of invisible energy surround me no matter how tired am I. Maybe, thats the passion I am talking about.. Sad thing is there is great tension between the counters girls now as the old staff from the previous company are unhappy for thier treatment as they are going to leave end of this month.. They are sad and unhappy.. So they tend to complian about the new girls and make things difficult for them. This is normal and wad i expect, but being the middle man, I felt stress and tired too when handling with both sides. Of course i know wad is the right thing to do! no worries.. Cheers = )

Getting on some Hard Assignments to Do...

Yeah, hi all again? hope my frens are still as fine as b4... Well, knowing that most of the counter girls is going to leave us soon as a new company taking over. Ya, everyone is sad. Just recieve instructions from our trainer to guide the new counter girls when they came to work. Well, honestly, I am tired of teaching le.. haha.. I have my 2 well and good trainees enough le.. I am contented. Ya, talking abt the Assignments that we are told to do.. Stress man. We need to Improvise our changi airport maps!!! We need to go around and update everything that is new and make the map a better understanding one compare to wad we have now.. Tough job for me but lucky enough I have my 2 trainees helping me out.. haha...I am sucks in my drawing so very sorry, I cant draw. LOL... Hope we can come up with something tomolo as our date line is on monday.

Mrs China Trouble...

Yoz yoz... today without my 2 trainees actually a bit not use to it.. haha.. but anyway, i encounter this funny experience today with this issue. When i was roving at north area. I saw this counter girl talking to a China passenger but the passenger is shouting up and down, dunno for wad. I came to know that the mother of 2 bought a total of $158.20 at watson but the items was taken back as her master card transaction did not go through. She was so unhappy that she wan to see the manager and demand the staff to return her items back.. The prob is no matter wad the staff explain. She dun giv it a damn and keep complaing and scolding them. So the counter girl had left with no chioce but to call the Duty Terminal Manager. 2 came down(rare) so since i know how to speak chinese. I followed them. I did ask the passenger to cool down first. (But she still dun care) Then i started telling her if she carries on like that, we will call the police. She say she is not afraid as she had done nothing wrong.(if she did not aware that her voice is a pollution to the airport) lol... but she carry on even the DTM attended to her. She wan proof that her transaction is not suceessful. The staff from watson from start told her to show her card so we can call the credit card company to check but she denied. She keep finding ways to disrupt us and continue her old Grandma story. She just dun wan to cooperate. In the end, we manage to get her card and we call but the person from bank cant release her account detials as she dun even know her pin number or her own Ic number. LOL wad to do? so in the end, we ask her to swipe her card another time to buy the items and if we really charge her twice. she can call or write back to us for a refund. The staff apologise to her too as wad she request. Personally, I felt that it was just a FACE issue. She just wan face. Keep telling us and wan us to tell her that actually she is correct. But pls lo... If anyone of u can imagine or see how she shouted at the transit area. Is so damn attention seeking (I think this is wad she wan to) She wanted us to feel lousy but in the end, is her to who had taken up the clown post. but is indeed funny... lol cheers guys...

Yup!! Grats u girls to be solo... Ended ur night mare training with me.. haha... These 3 weeks u girls had been suffering... poor thing.. thanks to me = ) But not anymore... Tomolo is thier refresher workshop..Hope they can have fun... anyway, on thursday, i met Justin in the transit area. He claim that he is flying off to kinabaru. shiok lo, can play.. For us, everyday we are in transit,but not flying.. haha.. But nvm, soon i will plan for Bangkok. Take care everyone and good nyte...

Wah, this 3 weeks together with them... not bad la.. but a bit tired.. but nvm, not for long... to be exact 5 days more.. haha.. I got this 2 trainees from Ngee Ann.. One short and one tall.. Short de very noisy lol... the tall one everytime stone de.. but they are good la.. Some how they have better knowledge than me in Terminal 1..haha.. Soon they finish the OJT le.. We have fun learning from each other.. and we will still be the same shift for their 5 months of work attachment here..

Wad I predicted came true...

So far, so good I guess.. All of us still manage to survive. haha.. For the thing that i predicted true. Just feel like writing here to vent my frustration. haha.. All 4 of us had trainnes under us. We coached them differently as all of us have different working styles. For myself, some pple thought that I was rather strict on my trainnes, I ask them personally, they honestly tell me that they are ok and they learnt things faster in the way. Well, i say ok... haha.. Remember on Saturday nyte. Working together with other trainnes in afternoon shift. We have this issue regarding wheel chair. 3 of our counter have wheel chairs, but the pax that request from us shld have someone to push for them or they have to push themself. We are not suppose to push them as we are told by our Trainner. Why is this so? that is because we are not insured and wad if anything happen to them when we are pushing? Who is going to pay for the medical fees. Ya it sounds a bit bad as we shld be kind and helpful to help. Me and Graham had been told off once by our trainner that it is wrong to push. So on that very day, i saw this new intern pushing a old lady. I waited for her to come back , and I ask her y. She say that she had no chioce as the old lady is rushing for gate and the Triple S pple do not wan to help. I encountered that kind of siuation b4. I understand that is not her fault. I just simply tell her that we are told not to do that due to the reason given above. True enough, after work, I heard her Stabbing me behind telling my Trainees how bad am I while my Trainees merly entertain her. The funny part is I heard the whole chunk of conversation outside the room. Is kind of stupid right? I did not scold her or wad. Just remind her and tell her. She need to make a Big huha of the whole situation.. But Nvm, I just treat it as a misunderstanding. . Anyway, ladies environment, wad can i Expect. haha... As long I train my trainees well, I dun bother wad pple say. thats all.. haha...Cheers and Hope u guys still enjoying wad u guys work as. . (no matter in travel angency or Events) take care guys.

Waiting For Our 2nd Pay.

Yoz guys, quite sometime not blogging le... maybe all are busy with thier stuffs.. Now the new intern from Ngee Ann came le, we have been coaching them so rather busy. Is not easy to guide and teach pple.. I remember i told my team saying do not compare me with other 3 of them as we have different working styles. haha.. So far they came here 1 week le, everything is fine.. I do not know abt the rest of them. I am sure they will be guided well.. Ya talking about our next pay, our trainner told us that this time it will come on time, 14th of Sep the latest, but today 13 le.. later maybe checking my mail box and pray hard the Chqueue is there. I will try to save this pay up and wait for the next pay to get Hp as my old one is spoilt. (due to work) sad.. haha... Sometimes, I will think of the rest of my classmates, are they doing fine or wad. Really hope they are doing good in thier work. Just heard ytd that sze mun was sick from work. SePtEmBeR Arrives with New INtern from Polys...

Ok... Time passes very fast for me... Now September le.. Before i went home just now, I check on our Intern Dip and took a copy of our september roaster. Haha.. saw all the new intern had been added in to our schdelue.. Each one of us will be the team leader of 2 -3 intern. For me I incharge of 2... lol... We are promoted in a way. but... that also means we had to be more hard working and more jobs and troubles will come soon... Thats wad i can predict... LOL... Our airport knowledge for this 2 months should can say is not bad le.. Terminal 1 for me still not that good... Remeber when Sherlyn called me and meet me for dinner. I just need to ask her where is her landmark around her, i can locate her le.. haha.. So next time if anyone of u wan ask about directions can giv us a call.. Well, working there is fun but i also do wish our classmates can just giv us a call and meet us for dinner if u are at the airport... ok... Late le... good nyte all... CHEERS

Yes!!! Pay Finally Came...

Yes!! After Nearly 2 months, our pay finally came by post. Guess wad? we are paid by cheque. Although some of us will tell me, Telvin pls la, as long we get it right? wad for u care? Well, for wad i think, this is not the right way for a BIG COMPANY like them to pay us through this kind of method... we are not intern for 3 months, we are here for the whole one yr... Ok.. another matter,by right, we are suppose to be paid $700 as stated. but they cut one day of our pay off and the reason was we started work on the 2nd of July. not 1st.. Come on la, black and white clearly stated $700 per month, and u require us to work on the 2nd, not we cant work on the 1st right? And they just deduct our pay like that. I seriously wan bring up the issue, not because of the money, is the principle.. They already held our pay for so long, and they still wan giv us such crap reasoning? I wan to bring up, but i know the rest may not bother or they dun think is a need. Maybe i am the kind who will fight for all those things or prevelliages that we shld get. But all I can say is, is not for me alone, is for the whole grp of us. I need thier support so we could bring up as a whole. Thats all for todae... A very Heart Pain incident i had encounter...

Hi guys, ya now is 1am, just came back from work not long ago.. Well, todae i encounter one very sad story of a pessenger that I want to share with u guys.. Even until now, i am still hoping everything was fine and god bless her..( Sofi,the pessenger). When i started work at 3 pm. Sofi came to our counter at South angrily and shouted at us, saying why she cannot just buy 3 cans of beer from DFS shop.She got money but cant buy it... DFs staff called the police later on and she had been held by them. Why is this so? I came to know it later on that she had been rejected by two flight so far to london due to her unstable condition..( She Drank alot). So she cant board the plane. Duty Manager was informed about her case. She will board the flight to london at 11pm later on tonight. While i was doing my usual roving back to South counter around 10pm. I saw her again at our desk sitting down. I was then informed by the counter girl that the Duty manager will bring her personally to the gate this time and ensure she depart safely.. At the point of time. she claimed she dun wan to sit there and waste time over there. she wan to walk around. Well, since my duty is to rove and helped out. I talk to her asking whether i can bring her around so she will not get lost and miss her flight. She felt irrtated at first due to her long hours with the police earlier on.. I bought her and she ask me, where can she get a bottle of beer. By right, i am not suppose to allow her to grab a beer, but i know she really need it. i bought her to Sports Bar(the nearset one from south) she get 2 bottles and I bought her up to the sunflower park to have a smoke and beer at the same time.. Then, i really came to know wad had happen to her.. She was from England, was married to perth(Austraillia). She had 4 kids. One of her daughter(16 this yr) was murdered by 2 teenagers in Perth, one 16 and one 19. She had faces lots of pressure and problems that she cant take it.She started drinking and drinking is like almost everyday, every now and then. Until the point of time, her husband ask her to go back to England to heal herself up as her parents was in England. That is how she landed in our airport during her transit to London... Well, not all yet. Very angry and sad to heard that those 2 teenagers that murdered her daughter may only sentence to 6-7 yrs (austraillian laws).. I say Fck it. come on... U take someone daughter's life away man, just 6-7 yrs? In Singapore = death or Life immprisionment. come on, is really not fair.. Now i finally can feel wad she felt as a mother.. I did my very best to console her and clam her down and i wan her to promise me that she must take good care of herself when she is back. I told her:"Mdm, no matter how sad u are, lifes goes on.. you must not carry on to be like this. Think about ur loves onces.. When u are sad, they are sad too.. " After wad i had say, she felt better indeed. I may not be a good counseler although i hope to be one. But wad i know is, I used my heart to understand her situtation and giv her all my attention and console her after she had let it all out.. Guys.. everyone had his or her sad memory or story.. After she Drank the 2 bottles, i bought her back to my counter and make we met the Duty manager that was supposed to bring her to the gate. I followed as i pushed her trolley along to the gate hold room. Upon reaching, she keep saying thank you to me. Well, in my heart i really wan her to be safe and bought the plane this time.At the gate hold room. She started crying when i said bye to her and shake her hand. She felt grateful for wad we had done for her. At the point of time, seriously, my tears almost came out but i kept it. i see her through the check point and i left.. even until now. i am still praying for her and wish her reach England safely. .. Thats all about the story of Sofi...

Where is our PaY???

Well, wad Muzzy say is true.. working is so fun and is the passion that counts... but... but... i dun believe he can survive without the pay.. lol Is fun working but no matter wad, we still need our pay if not we cannot survive. haha... They cliam that our pay will comes in every 2nd week after a new month.. this is the 3rd week le... lol... nvm.. maybe good things, we have to wait.. Anyway, ytd doing morning shift.. after so many days of afternoon shift.. the feeling is quite different.. haha.. i was posted to arrival again.. but after 5 mins, i rove inside and just find the pple that i loves talking to and sit beside them.. (In fact for the whole day) thats a bit bad.. dun follow... haha.. no choice... For me, i like to sit in the counter more (same as Graham bah)... kk write till here..

surprisingly think its much more fun walking around then being in the counter .....
i love the chores ......assisting lost people........the sense of achievement is instantaneous

apart frm being the indolent one frm the pack, this so dots actually tt im blogging coz i actually dispise bloggers. BUt oh well for atachment sake and coz im all alone on morning shift now. very brieft intro of my SHITS at work. i smoke all i want at work, "rove" all i want (G.T.M) knows it, steal wireless wif my lappy and look at those sweet nothin' Jack Daniel's,Johnny Walker & other liquor gals. they look freaking hot in tights. anyway this getting no where so ya im juz gonna buzz off. it still suck to realise tt im actually BLOGGING!

this so dots coz i nv like bloggers n its shit doin blogs besides being the most indolent among the pack, but well for goodness sake coz of my attachment. well though... first reason im blogging my first ever post coz im always alone on my mornign shift! sux tough but love it in a way. I DO WAD I LIKE! no harassment frm e other 3 gays. i smoke all i want, i ''rove'' to dark spots (G,M,T);they know it, using my lappy to steal wireless, oohh hohohoo tt juz gave me a gd idea.... to surf youtube lata. anyway wont blarrrr blarrr blarrr tt much. its pretty lame. so buzzing off.

Ok guys.. today is me and muzzy off days again.. keep giving us off.. now worse work 2 days , get one off.. haha.. not for long though. From 1st August onwards, we will have to follow stricter shift and regulations.. ARGGGGG... haha... Ytd i was at Central North counter. For some info of lost and found items, if there is a staff in a airport came to our counter and hand over a lost item, we will have to take the card no and name of the staff with their organiszation. Ytd there was a Cleaner Uncle came and handed us a wallet. Something weird I notice about this uncle. He came and said " Hey this is a empty wallet, no money only cards..." he keep repeating while we are writing his detials down.. Not long after, the owner came and collected his lost wallet and he claim that there are suppose to be a Us 50 dollars note and other various countris currency.. Well, we cannot do anything as is counted as a lost item. But deep down in my heart i am thinking of wad the uncle had told us.. Well, as i dun have edvidence, i am 50 percent quite sure the uncle had took the money and return the empty wallet to us... haha.. detective instint, but still we cannot say or do anything. Just too bad... haha... ytd was rather boring but i make new fren that was from Duty free shop. Actually a part timer too.. haha.. thier pay was like 12 dollars per hour.. wow...haha...good money... Well, i guess i shld not complain much though.. And our first PAY DAY may come later.. so hang on guys... We must have patience just like wad we need in our job... = ) cheers Telvin

~~We are SOLO~~

Yes!!! Finally after 3 fun weeks, we are now Solo considering we had passed the training period. Our batch is no longer trainee. Rember Graham telling us saying that he rendered his help to a pessenger and the pessenger thought his name is trainee and he goes on saying"Thanks Trainee" LOL. Now we have our own name Tag and locker to store our stuffs.. yeah... Ytd i was station at Arrival Terminal 2 and i came across this difficult question that i need 3 secs to answer... It goes like" halo, is this Terminal 2" somemore it came from a MOP(Members of Public)... Shag... well, sometimes our job maybe like answer question or stupid question. but there are fun parts also... Anyway, just recieve a news that JAy Chou is coming on the 31st in Terminal 1.. haha. those intrested can rush in... haha... well i realised they loves to giv us off day.. i was like working for only 2 days, then they giv me off again.. I seriously dun mind work for 6 days a week (if they willing to pay la) haha... kk, write till here for today...

Life in Terminal 1...

Yeah, off day again!!!.. this time i really need this off... cause well, this few days working in terminal 1.. although they are saying terminal 1 have more of the young pple over there to work with us. but I just prefer Terminal 2 no matter wad. Cause maybe we start from 2 so may not be so used to Terminal 1. overall was ok, maybe just for the environment. The counter girls there was friendly, some over friendly expecpt for one, we name her the special K. lol.. but come to know about her family background, I change my impression on her. Working at Terminal 1 makes me wan to sneak back to Terminal 2 to get some FRESH air.. i am sure all 4 of us have this same thinking.. We will only be in Terminal 1 for a week as our base is at Terminal 2.. CHeers, just left a few days more before we can SOLO....(compelte our OJT). No more Trainee on our pass.. haha... Saw Zhanyi , shellz and Candy ytd too.. think they are doing fine.. haha... ok, thats all for today... = )

Terminal 1

I shall tell y'all a short story. I was situated at the south counter in terminal 2 last week, a middle-aged indian couple asked me where iz the rainforest lounge. (itz somewhere in T1)...i told them all the directions but they seemed clueless about how 2 get there...so, i brought them there...haha. Itz about a 15 minute walk. We took the skytrain to T1 and kept walkin' until they stopped n asked me how long more...they were obviously tired. Finally, we reached the lift. N juz before we entered the lift, the man farted!...i heard it! he pretended like nothing happened n we all went into the lift and had to smell his fart...ahahah!...ok i'll end here...AHAHAHHA!

A Lonely but nice day.

Hi guys, today i am located at central north. ALONE. due to a guy called Graham. he changed shfit. is ok la.. haha.. as usual for me. today was busy and fun too.. talk to those CYA i saw last week, got 2 is Glen frens.haha. then just about to leave my counter at the end of shift,police came with a unattended Paper bag with Bengawan SOlo... lol a lot of them.. but too bad we cannot eat. Just as i thought everything had end, guess wad? i saw MR VINCIENT TAN at the arrival hall(public area) talk to him for mins. he said that he came back from Malaysia teaching> wonder wad he teach there? Bachemel Sauce? lol

First post from me!

Hey everyone who iz readin' this! This iz my first post on this blog...although i don't blog, i will do some blogging here. So ya...this blog iz about my 3 friends n i who r on our job attachment at CAAS!...(telvin...u know the title on the top of the blog?...pls put a comma between muzzy's name n mine...haha...n y iz the blog pink?...ahahah) ok...since this iz a first post....i won't talk much. i'll juz tell y'all dat the best reward we get from passengers at the airport iz when they say thanks and smile back at us after we've helped them. It lets us know dat we've done our job =) alright!...more stories soon!...good nite!

Yeah, off day for me today.. haha.. time to rest a little again. Well, ytd job was fun and busy as i am situated at the North counter in the Transit area.. learnt more stuff know more pple that work around me.. I saw Mei inside too.. haha.. she looks so surprise when she see me.. yeah..
dinner was good as i had my dinner together with Muzzy and Justin at the canteen.. haha..
Nearing the end, i helped a very "kan qiong" pessenger to Terminal 1 to catch her plane.. haha.. good experience.. Everyday should be filled with happiness and surprises. I am sure the rest of them got something they wan to say too.. Anyway, i wonder y Muzzy have not even post yet.. guess he is too tired... lol

2nd Day of OJT

Well, hi everyone again. Today was rather busy than b4 as we are finally located to station at a counter. I was situated at the Central North Counter whereas Muzzy at Central South. Today was Saturday.. expect more crowd than normal.. Well, i had a hard time again knowing all the surrounding near my counter or can say the whole Transit Terminal 2. Cause Pessengers will just drop by and asked any question they in doubt of.. Today b4 i reall can start, one pessenger came asking "May I know where i can get a cup of coffee"? Pls la this kind of question no need ask, just find around u can liao mah.. But, still our job. we have to get used of it... I learnt more on the computer system like checking on Gates numbers while looking at pessenger boarding pass.. Quite fun when i find it.. most of the time those seinors help me with it.. LOL. Tiring day..Later part in the evening, went patrol with Muzzy and went out to the public area and look for Candy. The first thing she saw us is "hey can u help me to bring this pessenger to the transit area." lol.. after that we went back and done her a little help. hope it helps though.. Tomolo i expect more as i will be station at the busy counter at north.. haha.. Hope i had a good time... = )

I will start off with the first post

Hi everyone.
Today is our first day of OJT(on the job training). Guess wad? We have an important yet suprise job to do.We are suppose to tour around terminal 2 transit area to take note of the surrounding and location of all places.Thats wad we are doing for the past few days. We are divided into 2 groups, Me with Graham and Muzzy with Karl. We started at both end (north and south of the transit area) . just when we met up near the central area. We recieve our supervisior walkie informing us to head back to the public area to help out on one incident that had happen. It was a accident that happen at the police check point whereby a SBS bus whack into the police security check point.This caused Terminal 2 bus station to closed down for about 2 hours. Well, our duty is suppose to guide and tell the pessengers that are travelling to the Terminal 2 bus interchange to go to Terminal 1 instead to take thier buses. All the buses had been directed there at that moment. Muzzy and Karl was outside at the departure area guiding the passenger while me and Graham was at Basement stoping and directing the pessangers that wan to enter Terminal 2 bus station. It was a hard time as we are lack of man power and the annocement made was not helping much either. By the end of the whole incident, our legs was screaming.. very tired.LOL. I guess we have to get used to it.I know this is only the begining, we have more to come. Lots of suprises ahead... I hope we will be prepared no matter mentally or physically... = )
